Useful Information for English speaking Visitors (more pictures inside): Neo Phalero near Pireus was the 1st developed coast suburb of Athens, with many special buildings. The area is totally destroyed today as the coast has been altered and most of the buildings gave their position to ugly blocks of flats. "Akteon Palace Hotel" of 1903, was one of the most important neoclassical buildings for all Greece. For mostly unknown and totally impossible to understand today, reasons and ways, it started to be destroyed from ~1935 till the 90's, when a small remaining part with no decorations was demolished. In this article i present that i found nearby a house of  the ~1920's, where original railings of the hotel have been placed decades ago. Important discovery as the lost hotel is a legend for the modern Greeks and nobody believes that even some railings could exist!
